Our motto is "We Serve". Lions are part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help our local communities.
Knights of the Blind
In 1925 Helen Keller challenged Lions to be "Knights of the Blind in the Crusade Against Darkness". Since then, clubs all over the world volunteer in the community serving the mission to eliminate blindness and provide services that improve the lives of individuals who are visually impaired.
The Fleming Island Lions Club
The Fleming Island Lions Club has been helping those in need in our community since we were chartered in Dec 2010. Our meetings are held the first Thursday each month, at 6:30 pm till 7:30 pm, at Talon's Restaurant located at 2217 Eagle Harbor Parkway, Fleming Island, FL 32003.
Our Mission
"To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary service through community involvement and international cooperation".
